Bourbonnais, Ill. — New officers were elected at the October Kankakee County 4-H Federation meeting held at the Extension office in  Bourbonnais. The newly elected officers will be installed at the annual Recognition Banquet Nov. 18 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Herscher, Ill.

The officers include: President, Kolton Hisel, of Chebanse Ag 4-H Club; vice president, Alexandra Dubravec, St. George Dragons 4-H Club; secretary/reporter, Zoe Buza, of Herscher Hustlers 4-H Club; treasurer, Charlie Kaack, of Chebanse Ag 4-H Club; parliamentarian, Jacob Costello of Momence Troopers 4-H Club; and recreation, Sophia Dubravec, of St. George Dragons 4-H Club.

Kankakee County 4-H Federation consists of older 4-H members. The group assists with many county 4-H activities through planning, directing and supervising events.  Leadership skills are learned and developed.   They are sponsors of the 4-H Federation Food Stand at the county fair and support awards given to clubs.  All clubs are encouraged to have at least one member as a delegate to Federation where club news is shared and information is passed on to each club through the delegates.
