ROCHESTER, Ind. — The Fulton County Fair will be held July 6-13 in Rochester, where families can peruse 4-H projects, enjoy good food and try something new.
A grab-and-go breakfast will be available from 7 to 10 a.m. July 9-10 in the Community Building. Options include biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos and cinnamon rolls.
On July 6, a dog obedience show will be at 8 a.m. in the Jud Hudkins Arena. A tractor contest will start at 10 a.m.
Sunday at 7:30 p.m. is Honor’s Night at the fair.
The Horse and Pony Showmanship and Halter Classes will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, followed by the Trail Class. The mini poultry show begins at 9 a.m., followed by 4-H poultry classes and showmanship in the Poultry Barn.
The dairy shows will start at 9:30 a.m. and the sheep show will start at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
On Tuesday, fairgoers can enjoy the rabbit show at 8:30 a.m. The 4-H beef show is at 1 p.m.
Wake up bright and early for the swine shows on Wednesday, which begin at 8 a.m. The mini 4-H horse and pony show will follow at 5 p.m.
Goat lovers can enjoy the Boer, market and pygmy goat show classes beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday in the Hudkins arena.
At 6 p.m. Thursday, the Supreme Master Showmanship Contest is the place to be.
On Friday, don’t miss the aerospace and bottle rocket launch at 10 a.m. The livestock auction will take place at 5 p.m.
The sale order is swine, poultry, milk, beef, rabbits, sheep and goats. The Grand Champions Spotlight Sale will follow at 7 p.m.
The fair concludes on Saturday with the Swine Carcass Show at 6 p.m. in the Hudkins arena. The show is sponsored by the Fulton County Pork Producers.
