and 5,000 solar photovoltaic panels that would turn sunlight into electricity.

solar farms that would gather the energy and then sell it to Duke.
The county property in question is near a power transfer
station, making it an ideal site.
Monroe County’s commissioners and members of the county’s
environmental quality commission have agreed to move the idea forward.
