TOULON, Ill. — The Midwest Agricultural Museum announced that soil erosion expert Louis T. Little of Kewanee donated $50,000 to the museum’s building fund.

“We are very grateful to Mr. Little for his generous contribution,” said Chris McMillen, chairman of the museum’s board of directors. “It brings us closer to creating a permanent and self-sustaining facility that showcases the evolution, growth and importance of farming.”

The museum also announced its participation in the following events:

* Aug. 17-18 – Central Illinois Farm Heritage Tractor Club’s Farm Heritage Days, Wyoming;

* Aug. 30-Sept. 2 – Kewanee Hog Days, Kewanee; and

* Sept. 2 – Annual Labor Day Parade, Bradford.
