PRINCETON, Ind. — The Indiana State Department of
Agriculture is hosting a workshop for those interested in being a part of the
Certified Livestock Producer Program, a voluntary program that recognizes
farmers for their commitment to innovative and top industry standards.
The workshop will be held Dec. 4 and 5 at the Gibson County
Extension Office in Princeton.
It is free of charge and will include industry experts in
the five areas of focus for the CLPP program.
“The Certified Livestock Producer Program offers livestock
producers an opportunity to publicly demonstrate their commitment to their farm,
their family, and the future,” CLPP Program Manager John Nagle said.
